- Burns catalog number indicates chain size, number of teeth on sprocket, and hub series required
- (Example: 8009W = 80 series chain, 9 tooth sprocket, that requires a W series hub)
- Low hydrogen electrodes recommended
- Larger sprockets are to be welded as pictured middle, and smaller sprockets are to be welded as pictured right (So weld will not interfere with chain); to weld:
- 1. Hold parts in place with C-Clamp
- 2. Tack weld in two places
- 3. Remove C-Clamp and weld continuously
- * = Hardened sprockets available (nonstock item); add 'H' after the alternate part number
